Hi there- Was wondering if you had any ideas on a cute way to mail homemade body scrub as valentines day gifts for friends. It needs to be a wide mouth container to scoop out the scrub.

Inspired your blog I found a bug catcher in the target dollar spot, filled it with a spring art craft and mailed it to my friends daughters. Hope it makes it there.

I just came across your blog yesterday and was reading about buying chocolate. You mentioned buying a large slab of chocolate, I am wondering if you can help me in this process. I”m not really sure where to start, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jane,
THat is a great question! I would look for gourmet cake or restaurant distributors in your area. Or just give a call directly to your favorite chocolate source, like Guittard, and ask for a distributor in your area. I’d love to hear if you find one!! Usually you can buy one 10- or 11-lb bar with no problem.

Thank you Amberlee,
I stumbled on your website in the throws of making my first souffle. I was nervous/lost but you gave me so many hints and info that my Betty Crocker cookbook didn’t mention. Using an egg to test your egg whites’ stiffness? BRILLIANT AND SIMPLE! I’m baking it right now and can’t wait for the results. Spinach souffle for one, coming right up!
have a lovely day,

yay! Congrats, Kelly! Thanks so much for taking a moment to come write. I hope the souffle was beautiful. Now you have me craving spinach souffle.

=( I tried mailing the eggs! The manager of the USPS told me that the 98 cent stamp and Forever stamp wouldn’t work anymore. It was parcel at $2.07. So I tried. Then they didn’t want to take it because my “Jumbo” plastic eggs weren’t a minimum of 3×5 inches.. but the lady helping me tried sending it anyway and it got returned to me. Aahh. =/

First let me say that I absolutely adore your blog. I fell in love with Happy Mail instantly. I have loved the mail since I was a child and as an adult I love to mail a little treat to friends and family to put a smile on their face. I want to mail the easter eggs, but am having a hard time finding small treats to put in them for adults. I did find mini bottles of nail polish, but nothing else. Do you have any ideas? Thank you so much.
