50+ DIY Wedding Favors

05.20.10

I hope you’ll forgive me an indulgence. I got a little carried away last night looking at pretty party favors. But look at these, can you blame me? Here are my 54 favorites. (Really, I tried to limit myself). Visit here to get a closer look. Is there anything good I missed? (C’mon, we can do better than a mere 54.) Do you have any favorite DIYs for party favors?

Very similar to your maypole / ribbon sticks — http://www.austinweddingblog.com/2009/08/lovely-ribbon-wedding-wands.html

I’ve like the s’mores packs…those are super cute. I also just made a bunch of heart-shaped brownies for wedding party favors that went over really well. Cupcake lollipops are awesome too.

It might be kind of to have a list of kid goodie bag realated stuff for events. I know I always try to be prepared for the kids so they have fun too.

I think this is really a great post. I found it by way of Amy at New Nostalgia. I have a question — may I ask where you found the “gadget/widget” for the “share it” feature at the end of your post? I’ve been looking all over the google gadgets for something like that. Any help you give would be much appreciated.

I also do not see a place to “follow” you, so I’ve posted your URL in my google reader to keep track of what you’re up to. I agree with you — I LOVe beautiful gift wrapping. It can make or break the present.

Thank you!

I wish these all had links to the original how-to posts. Obviously some are self-explanatory, but others, I am dying to know how they are done/the contents.

Hi Cassie!

Thanks for stopping by! I have all the links to the DIYs on my gift inspiration board. Click here. I’m hoping to get links up in the actual post, but it’s been so crazy this week I haven’t gotten to it yet. Hopefully you will be able to find everything you need on that page, though. Enjoy!

Hi Lauryn,
I am so sorry about this! I had a web developer do my first ever full-site back up this weekend, and that’s when we lost links. We are scrambling to get them back up. In the meantime, do you have any tutorials in particular I can find for you? Just let me know!

Thanks for the suggestions. I’ll be sure to put it to use when I plan my wedding (which will probably be in December next year)

I LOVE your site! (Found you via a google search for jam labels). Anyway … I’d love to check out your links for homemade wedding favors (as this is my particular obsession with four months to go!) Any idea when the links will be back up? Thank you again — what an amazing collection of work!!
