We had a lot of fun with our latest package.
We couldn’t resist trying to bounce the whole package once it was all wrapped up.

It’s pretty sturdy, incase the postal workers aren’t able to resist.

We’ve been having a lot of fun with this series. And I’m really excited about the next couple ideas we have coming up. Stay tuned.

What a fun idea!
This is a fun idea!
I can tell you’re having a ball with this. Hardy har! Now I am feeling a little positive pressure to come up with a few things to mail . . .
I love this series and this is another super fun idea. : )
I know this sounds crazy but I seem to have some crazy fear of post offices… I have a HORRIBLE Time mailing things!! I love getting mail but I am getting so much inspiration from your posts.. Thank you so much – I am sending something off on Saturday.
:)
I was peeking at this idea again and had this light bulb moment —- how cool would it be to send plastic Easter eggs in this same manner?! Ooooooh.
I love your 13 oz. or Less idea! Is there a way to join in on the fun? I come across stuff all the time that makes me want to get in on it!
yes, yes! I’m so glad you asked! Are you on flickr? (If not it’s pretty simple to join.) I created a flickr group for 13 oz or less and am pining for anyone to add photos of their fun mail (like Lauren just did). Here is the URL:

I’d love to see what you have in the works! (If you join flickr and have any troubles figuring out how to add to a group, just let me know!)
Oh what fun!! I wish, I wish, I wish I could get my life in order enough to joing the 13 oz party.
Oh, I love this project! Fun mail is the best!
I’m going to get to work and contribute to the flickr group soon. :)
What a brilliant idea! I always want to send my friends and relatives pick-me-ups but often find myself running out of things to say in a letter. What a fantastic and not too expensive way to make people feel loved! I am definitely going to join in the fun. Thumbs way up on this idea!
I keep going back to your page – Wheels are turning for Christmas and Holiday greetings!
I’m definitely doing this one with colorful rainbow balls — I’m just a little nervous about getting the postage to stick.
You could send a canister with cocoa and mini marshmallows for december
I like the thought of fun mail! I didn’t see where you mention why it should be 13oz or less to send…
Thank you for sharing. We’ve started exchanging christmas gifts at our family reunion every summer because shipping is SO expensive. We spend more on shipping than the present, usually. This is inspiring–can I come up with something for everyone’s birthday? I’m thinking of taking on the challenge this year. Wish me luck–and send me a lot more ideas.
I was wondering if you have ever tried to mail a pool noodle, I want to mail them out as invitations for my son’s 4th birthday party but didn’t know if that is possible
Hi Tara, Thanks for the note!! I have been planning to mail a pool noodle this summer but haven’t gotten around to it yet! Though I’ve had readers who have tried it with success! So I’m thinking it is worth a go. Good luck!
LOVE!!!
Nothing’s cuter!!
Did the mail ever actually get delivered? Way cool if it did, but USPS is pretty strict about items being wrapped.
Hi Katie!
I think I might have extra nice postal workers, but yes, everything I’ve mailed has been delivered so far. Crossing my fingers it will stay that way! I’ve also been addding my own postage lately and just dropping it in the big blue mailbox.
