My son is having his end-of-year preschool bash tonight. The other parents and I really wanted to do something great for his teacher. This is a woman who taught him to collect eggs from a chicken, a woman who acts enthralled at the bugs he brings in a jar, then sends him home with extra bugs caught during preschool. So I was more than a little excited when I came across this little shop.
Aedriel from aedrieloriginals was amazing. I told her about the occasion and what we were trying to do, and she worked her magic and created this beautiful, just-right platter. I can hardly wait for tonight. Oh, and did I mention I contacted her with very little time left and in the middle of her Mother’s Day rush? How she did it, I don’t know, but she really took care of me. So now we have a perfect gift to present tonight, along with a batch of cookie dough I made and froze last night, so there will be something yummy to put on the platter.

What a perfect gift!
Sometime you’ll have to post the cookie recipe. Sounds delicious!
What a great idea. I love the plates and the frozen cookie dough idea. Genius!
